What We Offer
-
Clear and Confident Communication for Everyday Life
Speech and language services at Voice to Table are designed to support people who are experiencing changes in voice, speech clarity, or communication confidence.
Sessions are personalized to your goals and focus on practical strategies that carry over into real-life conversations at home and in the community.
Using evidence-based approaches, we work on strengthening vocal effort, improving clarity, and reducing communication breakdowns. Education is a key part of every session, empowering both individuals and communication partners with tools that support success beyond therapy.
Services are offered in the home, through secure telehealth, or in natural environments such as a park, allowing communication strategies to be practiced where they matter most.
Speech and language services may support:
Reduced voice volume
Slurred or unclear speech
Difficulty being understood in conversation
Communication fatigue or frustration
-
Supporting Safe, Comfortable, and Enjoyable Mealtimes
Swallowing Services focus on helping people eat and drink safely while maintaining independence and enjoyment at the table. Swallowing changes can develop gradually and early education and support can make a meaningful difference.
Sessions focus on understanding how swallowing works, recognizing signs of difficulty, and learning practical strategies to improve safety and confidence during meals. Caregivers are encouraged to participate so strategies can be supported consistently in daily routines.
Swallowing services are provided in the home, via telehealth, or in natural environments when appropriate, allowing real-life mealtime challenges to be addressed directly.
Swallowing services may support:
Coughing, choking, or throat clearing during meals
Difficulty chewing or managing certain food or liquid textures
Fatigue or effort eating and drinking
Positioning, pacing, and mealtime safety strategies

Community, Confidence, and Stronger Voices
LOUD at the Table is a FREE Parkinson’s-focused group communication program designed to help participants maintain strong, confident voices while staying socially engaged. Group sessions provide a motivating and supportive environment where individuals work toward shared communication goals together.
Using evidence-based strategies inspired by LSVT LOUD® , participants practice speaking with intention, effort, and clarity through functional, interactive activities.
Groups may be offered in community settings, outdoor environments such as parks, or through telehealth, depending on the group format and needs.
LOUD at the Table is ideal for:

Sessions focus on speaking with intention and confidence, increasing vocal loudness and clarity, and using evidence-based strategies inspired by SPEAK OUT!® and LSVT LOUD®. Activities are functional, interactive, and designed to translate directly into everyday communication.
-
Group sessions may be offered in community spaces, natural environments such as parks, or through telehealth, depending on the group format and participants.

Group sessions complement individual speech therapy but do not replace one-on-one care for specific medical or swallowing concerns. Many participants find that group sessions help maintain skills, build motivation, and support long-term communication success.
-
If you are living with Parkinson’s and want to improve your communication, build confidence, and connect with others working toward the same goals, this group may be a great fit. A brief conversation can help determine whether the group meets your needs.
